Report by custodian of an inmate's unauthorized absence--Return of inmate

Any person who has custody of an inmate pursuant to § 24-4-7 shall immediately report the unauthorized absence of any inmate and shall promptly return any inmate to the custody of the warden if ordered to do so. Source: SDC 1939, § 13.4722; SL 1989, ch 20, § 108; SL 2004, ch 168, § 20.
