Suspension of proceeding pending competency determination

Pending an examination ordered pursuant to § 26-7A-32.4 , the court shall suspend the proceeding pending the outcome of a competency determination hearing pursuant to § 26-7A-32.7 . Suspension of the proceeding does not affect the court's ability to detain or release the juvenile. Source: SL 2013, ch 121, § 5.
