Fees for confinement

No place of confinement may require payment of any fee or charge for so receiving or confining a person except as otherwise provided by law. If no military confinement facility is available and a civilian facility charges fees as provided by law, the person confined shall be responsible for such costs. Source: SL 2012, ch 175, § 153.
