Running at large defined

For the purpose of §§ 40-28-1 and 40-28-2 the term "running at large" shall mean intentionally left outside of the inclosure of a legal fence, and off of the lands owned or controlled by the owner of such animal. Source: SDC 1939, § 40.1311.
