Tampering with back flow preventer a misdemeanor

It is a Class 2 misdemeanor for any person without lawful authority to connect, disconnect, bypass, or tamper with a back flow preventer installed on a public water system. Nothing in this section affects the right of a water service company to recover any damages caused by the violation of this section. Source: SL 1999, ch 228, § 2.
