There appears to be confusion among some insurers about
whether credit life companies and credit accident and health
companies
were
intended
to
be
members
of
the
Guaranty
Association.
The
Tennessee
Life
and
Health
Guaranty
Association Act states that it includes life, accident and
health coverages without reference to any speci fic lines of
coverage.
It is the Department position that all life,
accident and health coverages in whatever form they may
take, including credit life and credit accident and health,
are included within the Act.
