BULLETIN TO: All Property and Casualty Insurance Companies Authorized to Write Workers’ Compensation Insurance FR: Paula A. Flowers, Commissioner Department of Commerce and Insurance RE: Designation of Rate Service Organization DT: June 2, 2003 The purpose of this Bulletin is to clarify any misconceptions as to who the designated rate service organization is for purposes of assisting in gathering, compiling and reporting relevant workers’ compensation insurance statistical information. Pursuant to Tenn. Code Ann. § 56-5-320(a) and until further notice, the following company has been, and shall continue to function as, the designated rate service organization for purposes of assisting in gathering, compiling and reporting relevant workers’ compensation insurance statistical information: National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI) 901 Peninsula Corporate Circle Boca Raton, Florida 33487 No other rate service organization is authorized to furnish this information pursuant to said statute unless so authorized by the Department of Commerce and Insurance.
