Chancellor within ten (10) university business days of receipt of the Dean’s penalty
determination. The accused student has the burden of proving that the penalty assigned by

Honor Court.
(2) The Chancellor (or designee) generally will respond to the student with a decision within ten
(10) university business days of the receipt of the request for the appeal. A copy of the
Chancellor’s (or designee’s) decision will be sent to the Office of Student Affairs and
maintained in the student’s permanent record.
