Definitions

As used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise requires, the following definitions are applicable: (1) “Commission” shall mean the Tennessee Auctioneer Commission. (2) “License” shall mean a license issued by the Tennessee Auctioneer Commission in accordance with T.C.A. § 62-19-111. (3) “Licensee” shall mean any principal auctioneer, affiliate auctioneer, or public automobile auctioneer licensed in accordance with T.C.A. § 62-19-111. As used in this chapter, this definition does not include bid caller auctioneers. (4) “Personal identification number” shall mean the number assigned to a continuing education program approved by the Commission.
