Incident Safety Officer

(1)
An Incident Safety Officer shall successfully complete the requirements for Fire Officer I as
prescribed in Commission rules, regulations, and policies.
(2)
An Incident Safety Officer shall successfully complete a Commission-approved training
program compliant with the NFPA 1521, Standard for Fire Department Safety Officer.
(3)
An Incident Safety Officer shall pass the examination(s) for Incident Safety Officer as
promulgated by the Commission.
