(1)
Whenever a judge issues an interlocutory or compensation order and a party fails to comply
with that order, the party seeking enforcement of the order may file a motion to compel.
Before filing the motion, the moving party must contact the opposing party to inform the party
that a motion to enforce the order will be filed.
(2)
Before filing the motion, the moving party must contact the judge’s staff to obtain a hearing
date and write the date in the motion in bold print as follows: THIS MOTION WILL BE
HEARD ON ____, 20___, AT ___A.M./P.M.
(3)
All responses must be filed and served no later than five (5) business days before the
hearing.
(4)
If the judge determines that a party failed to comply with the order, the judge may order
compliance and refer the noncompliant party for assessment of a civil penalty.
