Purpose

The purpose of this Chapter as set out in T.C.A. §43-6-401 is to secure the suppression or eradication
of the boll weevil in cotton. To meet these ends this Chapter imposes quarantines and certifies a
cotton grower’s organization to cooperate with other state and federal agencies.
