(1) Any party desiring a continuance or other resetting of any hearing or pre-hearing conference shall file with the Docket Manager and serve on all parties a motion setting forth the grounds for the relief sought. (2) Any party opposing the continuance or rescheduling may file a response setting forth the basis for such opposition, but the motion may be decided without waiting for responses. (3) In determining whether to grant such a motion, the Hearing Officer or the Commission may consider the relative convenience of the parties, the Commission’s calendar for hearings, and the necessity for the expeditious disposition of the case.
