Refund of fees paid in event of termination

If a candidate accepts candidate-paid fee employment and is terminated by the employer through no cause of the candidate within four (4) weeks after beginning work, the employment agency shall, within thirty (30) days, refund any fee paid by the candidate. During such thirty (30) days, the employment agency shall, if requested, attempt to place the candidate in similar employment. Acts 1996, ch. 731, § 5.
