Tennessee and United States Constitutions Day

September 17 of each year shall be observed as "Tennessee and United States Constitutions Day," to honor and commemorate the creation and signing of the supreme laws of our state and land on June 1, 1796, and September 17, 1787. This day shall not be a legal holiday as defined in § 15-1-101 . Amended by 2020 Tenn. Acts, ch. 707, s 5, eff. 6/22/2020. Acts 2008 , ch. 702, § 1.
