Short title - Controlling law

This chapter shall be cited to as the "Workers' Compensation Law" and shall be controlling for any claim for workers' compensation benefits for an injury, as defined in this chapter, when the date of injury is on or after July 1, 2014. All claims having a date of injury prior to July 1, 2014, shall be governed by prior law. Acts 1919, ch. 123, § 1; Shan. Supp., § 3608a137; Code 1932, § 6851; impl. am.
