Personal automobile insurance of municipal, county, and state employees

Whenever a full-time employee of municipal, county, or state government is involved in a traffic accident while acting as the agent of the governmental employer and while operating a motor vehicle owned by the governmental employer, the accident shall in no way be considered by the employee's personal automobile insurance carrier in fixing insurance premiums, nor shall it cause any increase in the employee's personal automobile insurance premiums. Acts 1983, ch. 195, § 1.
