Any person who makes a false statement or representation of a material fact knowing it to be false or knowingly fails to disclose a material fact, in order to obtain a surety bond, either for that person or for any other person, commits a Class A misdemeanor. Each such false statement or representation or failure to disclose a material fact constitutes a separate offense. Acts 1994, ch. 874, § 1.
