Powers and duties of commissioner

For purposes of enforcing this part, the commissioner: (1) May investigate any offense under this part; (2) May seek the assistance of any law enforcement agency of the United States, the state, or any local government in the conduct of the investigations; and (3) Shall coordinate the investigation to the maximum extent practicable, with the investigations of any law enforcement agency of the United States, the state, or any local government. Acts 1992, ch. 782, § 6.
