Home Bulletins bulletins – 1995 B-140 BULLETIN NO. 140 March 29, 1973 To:   ALL TITLE INSURANCE COMPANIES LICENSED TO DO BUSINESS IN THE STATE OF TEXAS, AND ALL AGENTS THEREOF Re:   AFFIRMATIVE INSURANCE REQUEST NEW JERSEY SAVINGS AND LOANS MORTGAGES We have been asked if it is permissible for a Texas Title Insurer or its Agent to make the following certification: "This policy insures that the mortgage set forth herein is a valid first mortgage lien on the above mentioned premises in accordance with the definition contained in N.J.S.A. 17:12B-11 of the Savings and Loan Act."
