Home Bulletins 2015 B-0017-15 July 23, 2015 To:   ALL INSURERS WRITING CREDIT LIFE OR CREDIT ACCIDENT AND HEALTH Re:   CREDIT DATA CALL – 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014 CREDIT LIFE AND CREDIT ACCIDENT AND HEALTH INSURANCE This bulletin notifies you of the credit data call for calendar years 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014. Title 28 of the Texas Administrative Code, Chapter 3, Subchapter FF, Sections 3.5701 and 3.5702, and the Texas Insurance Code, Chapter 1153, provide the method for submitting the credit experience and expense reports. SUBMITTING A RESPONSE TO THE DATA CALL The credit data call requires data from your company on credit life and credit accident and health insurance, in force or written in the state of Texas, on loans or other credit transactions of 120 months or less duration. The data call form, LAH001, is available online at www.tdi.texas.gov/life/datacall.html . Submit the required data through the online form. Companies may begin entering data on July 31, 2015. All data must be submitted to TDI by October 31, 2015 . The data call consists of a company information section, experience reports, expense reports, and an actuarial certification. Carefully read the instructions on the form to ensure accuracy in data reporting.  You must submit a data call for each calendar year.
