B-0023-96 # Statistical Bulletin No. 29 TO: All Companies Writing Residential Property Insurance in Texas RE: Texas Insurance Checking Office (TICO) Designated as Texas Residential Property Statistical Agent *** IMPORTANT NOTICE *** Please read carefully and distribute to appropriate personnel handling statistical reporting. The Commissioner of Insurance has designated the Texas Insurance Checking Office (TICO) as the Texas statistical agent for residential property. TICO replaces Acxiom as the Texas residential property statistical agent. This bulletin provides information to companies regarding the transition in reporting of residential property experience from Acxiom to TICO. Residential property experience includes homeowners, tenants, condominium, farm and ranchowners, dwelling fire, dwelling extended coverage, farm fire and farm extended coverage. # Submit Reports of 1995 Experience to Acxiom -- May 1 Deadline for Corrections Reporting companies shall continue to make submissions of 1995 residential property experience to Acxiom, including resubmissions of corrected data. Acxiom has recently sent notice to reporting companies that all 1995 reports in error must be corrected and resubmitted to Acxiom by May 1, 1996. The Department has directed Acxiom to refer any company not meeting this deadline to the Department for possible disciplinary action. Commissioner's Bulletin Statistical Reporting Bulletin # 29 April 16, 1996 Page 2 ## Submit Reports of 1996 and Later Experience to TICO All submissions of 1996 and later residential property experience shall be sent to TICO at the following address: Texas Insurance Checking Office 2801 S. Interregional Highway Austin, TX 78741 Any submissions of 1996 experience made to Acxiom from this time forward may be returned to reporting companies. Companies will then be responsible for submitting the reports to TICO. However, if you have already submitted reports of 1996 experience to Acxiom, Acxiom will forward these submissions to TICO.
