Home Bulletins bulletin04 B-0027-04 June 17, 2004 To:   ALL COMPANIES, CORPORATIONS, EXCHANGES, MUTUALS, RECIPROCALS, ASSOCIATIONS, LLOYDS, OR OTHER INSURERS WRITING PROPERTY AND CASUALTY INSURANCE IN THE STATE OF TEXAS AND TO OTHER AGENTS AND REPRESENTATIVES AND THE PUBLIC GENERALLY Re: In accordance with the Insurance Code, Article 21.55 §5(d), and 28 TAC 5.9303, the Texas Department of Insurance has determined the weather-related events occurring on June 4, 2004 through June 9, 2004, in the counties of Anderson, Archer, Armstrong, Atascosa, Austin, Bandera, Bell, Bexar, Bosque, Brazoria, Brazos, Brewster, Brown, Burleson, Caldwell, Callahan, Carson, Chambers, Collin, Colorado, Comal, Comanche, Cooke, Coryell, Crosby, Dallam, Dallas, Deaf Smith, Denton, Eastland, Erath, Fannin, Fayette, Fisher, Freestone, Galveston, Garza, Grayson, Guadalupe, Hamilton, Hansford, Harris, Haskell, Hemphill, Henderson, Hill, Hood, Hutchinson, Jack, Jeff Davis, Johnson, Jones, Kaufman, Kendall, La Salle, Lampasas, Leon, Liberty, Limestone, Lipscomb, Lubbock, Mason, Mills, Moore, Oldham, Parker, Parmer, Pecos, Potter, Presidio, Randall, Reeves, Robertson, Sabine, San Jacinto, San Saba, Shackelford, Sherman, Smith, Somervell, Sterling, Tarrant, Terrell, Terry, Throckmorton, Upshur, Victoria, Waller, Ward, Washington, Wharton, Wichita, Wise, and Young Counties are a catastrophe for the purpose of claims processing. Claims resulting directly from the above-defined catastrophe shall be subject to the additional time periods allowed by Article 21.55 §5(d), Texas Insurance Code for the processing of claims.
