Home Bulletins bulletin04 B-0031-04 June 30, 2004 To:   ALL COMPANIES, CORPORATIONS, EXCHANGES, MUTUALS, RECIPROCALS, ASSOCIATIONS, LLOYDS, OR OTHER INSURERS WRITING PROPERTY AND CASUALTY INSURANCE IN THE STATE OF TEXAS AND TO OTHER AGENTS AND REPRESENTATIVES AND THE PUBLIC GENERALLY Re: In accordance with the Insurance Code, Article 21.55 §5(d), and 28 TAC 5.9303, the Texas Department of Insurance has determined the weather-related events occurring on June 18, 2004 through June 22, 2004, in the counties of Armstrong, Bailey, Briscoe, Brown, Calhoun, Carson, Castro, Childress, Dallas, Dawson, Deaf Smith, Denton, Donley, El Paso, Floyd, Glasscock, Gray, Grayson, Hall, Hansford, Hardeman, Hartley, Hockley, Howard, Hutchinson, Lamar, Lamb, Lipscomb, Lubbock, McCulloch, Menard, Midland, Moore, Nacogdoches, Nueces, Oldham, Panola, Potter, Randall, Reagan, Red River, Reeves, Robertson, Sherman, Swisher, Tom Green, Val Verde, Wilbarger, Wise, and Wood Counties are a catastrophe for the purpose of claims processing. Claims resulting directly from the above-defined catastrophe shall be subject to the additional time periods allowed by Article 21.55 §5(d), Texas Insurance Code for the processing of claims.
