Home Bulletins Commissioner bulletins – 2020 B-0038-20 November 12, 2020 To:   All Insurance Companies Writing Automobile Insurance in the State of Texas Re:   Texas Automobile Insurance Plan Association Rates TDI has approved changes in the rates for commercial automobile insurance for the Texas Automobile Insurance Plan Association (TAIPA). The changes are effective March 1, 2021, for new and renewal business by Commissioner’s Order No. 2020-6560. The new rates represent an overall increase of 4.8% in commercial automobile rates.
