Assignment of Temporary 7/9 Public Protection Classification (PPC)

Home Bulletins 2001 B-0039-01 September 18, 2001 To:   ALL PROPERTY AND CASUALTY INSURANCE COMPANIES Re:   Assignment of Temporary 7/9 Public Protection Classification (PPC) This is to inform you that the communities of Smyer, Texas and Normangee, Texas are hereby assigned a temporary Public Protection Classification of 7/9. The Insurance Services Office has not surveyed these communities and the temporary classification is assigned until such time a survey can be performed. Insurers are requested to issue policies at this classification on or after the approved effective date of August 31, 2001 . Premiums for individual policyholders in these communities should reflect the correct premium rate factors for the approved PPC.
