INTEROPERABLE NETWORKS REQUIRED.

(a) The commission shall require each telecommunications provider to maintain interoperable networks. (b) The commission may: (1) adopt rules, including generic rules that are responsive to changes in federal law or a development in the local exchange market; and (2) set policies governing interconnection arrangements.
