DEFINITION.

In this chapter, "nonprofit entity" means: (1) a nonprofit corporation; (2) a nonprofit charitable, civic, or religious organization; (3) a political party or political association supporting a candidate for public office or a proposed amendment to the Texas Constitution or other ballot measure; (4) a fraternal organization with a regular membership that has been in continuous existence for more than five years; or (5) a person or group of persons who are subject to recordkeeping requirements under Chapter 254, Election Code.
