R58-28-3. Definitions

In addition to the definitions found in Section 4-2-901, the following terms are defined for this rule: (1) "Employer" means a government entity, for-profit employer, or non-profit organization for which a qualified veterinarian practices. (2) "Practice" or "practicing" means paid or volunteer employment averaging at least 32 hours per week where the applicant diagnoses, treats, corrects, changes, alleviates, or prevents animal disease, illness, pain, deformity, defect, injury, or other physical, dental, or mental conditions in animals.
