R650-307-1. Authority

(1) This rule is established pursuant to Section 79-9-102 and applies to the Outdoor Recreation Mitigation Grant Program. (2) The purpose of this rule is to establish procedures for administering the Outdoor Recreation Mitigation Grant Program to assist eligible counties in addressing "Visitor-related emergency costs" and "Visitor-related safety costs." (3) This rule governs procedures for Outdoor Recreation Mitigation Grant Program applicants, eligibility, project selection, and reporting and reimbursement requirements. The rule provides instructions for submitting an Outdoor Recreation Mitigation Grant application, specifies entities eligible to receive a grant, specifies criteria an applicant must meet to receive a grant, and specifies the scoring system used to evaluate grant applications.
