R765-256-9. Institutional Right to Proceed Absent Accused Student, Victim, or Accused Student Organization Participation

(1) Each student may decline to participate in any proceeding. (2) Each institution may proceed with the student or student organization disciplinary proceeding in a timely fashion without the accused student, accused student organization, or victim if they decline to participate. (3) Each institution may set reasonable deadlines and move forward with processes regardless of whether the accused student, accused student organization, victim, or their respective advisor can meet those deadlines.
