R850-170-1000. Lease Determination Procedures

The director may not lease trust lands when a lease: (1) would be inconsistent with board policy or would not be in the best interest of the trust beneficiaries; (2) would create significant obstacles to future mineral development; or (3) would foreclose future development or management options that would likely result in greater long-term economic benefit.
