R151-4-106. Utah Rules of Civil Procedure, Utah Rules of Evidence

(1) The Utah Rules of Civil Procedure and related case law are persuasive authority in this rule but may not, except as otherwise provided by Title 63G, Chapter 4, Administrative Procedures Act or by this rule, be controlling authority. (2) The Utah Rules of Evidence are not binding except as to Article V Privileges and as further referenced in this rule. (3) The Utah Rules of Evidence are persuasive authority in formal adjudicative proceedings.
