R309-545-12. Steel Tanks

(1) Paints. Proper protection shall be given to all metal surfaces, both internal and external, by paints or other protective coatings. Internal coatings shall comply with R309-545-11. (2) Cathodic Protection. If installed, internal cathodic protection shall be designed, installed and maintained by personnel trained in corrosion engineering.
