R380-70-3. Electronic Exchange Requirements

(1) A health care provider or third-party payer that exchanges clinical health information electronically with another health care provider or third-party payer shall comply with this rule. (2) A person required to report information to the Utah Department of Health and Human Services and that submits its report electronically shall submit the report in accordance with this rule. (3) A health care provider or third-party payer may reject electronically transmitted clinical information if it is not transmitted in accordance with this rule.
