R380-90-4. Good Cause for Use of Other Accounts

Good cause for using an account other than an ABLE account includes if the minor beneficiary: (1) already has a special needs trust or other account; (2) has exceeded or is likely to exceed the contribution limits for an ABLE account; (3) does not qualify for an ABLE account; or (4) has any other circumstance the department determines is good cause.
