R392-302-40. Special Purpose Pools: Wading Pools

(1) The manager shall ensure that: (a) each wading pool: (i) meets any applicable requirement of this rule in addition to this section; (ii) does not share common circulation, filtration, chemical treatment systems, or a wall with any other pool; (iii) does not exceed a maximum water depth of two feet; (iv) has a minimum of one turnover per hour, as described in Table 1; (v) has a minimum of two equally spaced inlets around the perimeter of the wading pool if the wading pool has wall inlets; and (vi) with a perimeter that exceeds 20 feet has wall inlets that are spaced at a minimum of one in each 20 feet of pool perimeter or fraction thereof; and (b) each wading area; (i) does not exceed a maximum water depth of two feet; and (ii) has a minimum of one turnover per hour, as described in Table 1. (2) The deck of a wading pool may be included as part of an adjacent pool deck.
