R432-100-1. Authority and Purpose

(1) Sections 26B-2-202 and 26B-2-203 authorize this rule. (2)(a) This rule promotes public health and welfare through the establishment and enforcement of licensure standards. (b) This rule sets standards for the construction and operation of a general hospital. The standards of patient care apply to inpatient, outpatient, and satellite services.
