R432-270-1. Authority and Purpose

(1) Section 26B-2-202 authorizes this rule. (2) This rule establishes the licensing and operational standards for assisted living facilities. Assisted living is intended to enable an individual experiencing functional impairments to receive 24-hour personal and health-related services in a place of residence with enough structure to meet the care needs in a safe manner.
