R432-950-9. Equipment Standards

(1) The facility shall ensure each mammogram unit is designed specifically for mammography and has a compression device and the capability for placement of a grid. (2) The facility shall maintain written policies and procedures for operating mammography equipment. (3) The facility must ensure each mammogram unit is registered with the Utah Department of Environmental Quality, in accordance with Section R313-16-230, before initiating operation.
