R434-45-6. Loan Repayment Contract Eligibility and Selection Criteria

Applicants shall be selected based on eligibility criteria, such as: (1) prior experience living, working, or both in a rural community; (2) board certification or eligibility; (3) the applicant obtaining a contract with an approved rural hospital that will match the loan funds; (4) status as a United States Citizen or legal resident; and (5) application submitted within 18 months of beginning professional practice in a rural community.
