§ 17B-1-113. Liability insurance.

(1) Each special district with an annual operating budget of $50,000 or more shall obtain liability insurance as considered appropriate by the special district board. (2) Each special district with an annual operating budget of less than $50,000 is not required to obtain liability insurance, but liability insurance is encouraged, as considered appropriate by the special district board.
