§ 78A-5b-103. Establishment of the Constitutional Court -- Organization and status.

(1) There is established the Constitutional Court for the state. (2) The Constitutional Court is a court of record. (3) The Constitutional Court is a trial court with limited and statewide jurisdiction over actions and claims as described in Section 78A-5b-103. (4) The Constitutional Court is of equal status with the district and juvenile courts and the Business and Chancery Court of the state. (5) The Constitutional Court is established as a forum for the resolution of all matters properly brought before the Constitutional Court and consistent with applicable constitutional and statutory requirements of due process. (6) The Constitutional Court shall have a seal. (7) The judges and clerks of the Constitutional Court have the power to administer oaths and affirmations.
