9VAC25-610-40. Prohibitions and requirements for groundwater withdrawals

A. No person shall withdraw, attempt to withdraw, or allow the withdrawal of groundwater within a groundwater management area, except as authorized pursuant to a groundwater withdrawal permit, or as excluded in 9VAC25-610-50 . B. No permit or special exception shall be issued for more groundwater than can be applied to the proposed beneficial use.
