WAC 110-50-0930. Eligibility criteria for third party reimbursement

(1) For licensed caregivers to be eligible for third party reimbursement, occurrences must have happened on the dates when children or youth were: (a) Placed in their home by the department; or (b) At their licensed home for respite and the caregiver was receiving payments from the department. (2) The following placements are not eligible for third party reimbursement including, but not limited to: (a) GCFs; (b) Residential private schools; (c) Trial return home placements; (d) Placements where the damage is covered by the CPA; (e) Youth missing from care; (f) Overnight status with parents or guardians; (g) Extended foster care youth; and (h) Inpatient treatment facilities.
