In order to obtain a license to practice podiatric medicine and surgery in the state of Washington, an applicant must: (1) Successfully pass all parts of the American Podiatric Medical Licensing Examination administered through the National Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners; or (2) Be licensed by examination in another state or territory of the United States, or the District of Columbia; and (a) If graduated on or after June 1988, have successfully passed Parts I, II, and III of the national examination prepared by the National Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners; or (b) If graduated prior to June 1988, have successfully passed Parts I and II of the national examination administered through the National Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners in addition to the Virginia licensing examination or the PM-Lexis examination.
