WAC 246-924-056. Internship

An applicant shall successfully complete an organized internship as part of the doctoral degree program described in WAC 246-924-046 . (1) The internship must include at least 1,500 hours of supervised experience and be completed within 12 to 24 months or nine to 24 months for school psychologists. (2) The internship program must: (a) Be accredited by the APA or CPA; or (b) Be a member program of the APPIC; or (c) Meet the requirements for an alternative internship under WAC 246-924-057 . (3) If telehealth is used as part of the internship, then the standards in WAC 246-924-012 must be met. (4) If telesupervision is used as part of the internship, then the standards in WAC 246-924-051 must be met.
