WAC 296-06-140. Appeal of denial of requests

After a request for inspection or copying of public records is denied, the requestor may ask the department to review the denial. The request for review must: • Be made in writing. • Be sent to the public records officer or his/her designee after receiving the denial. • Specifically refer to the denial. • Contain a brief statement that gives reasons for reconsideration of the denial.
