WAC 296-155-355. Hand tools

(1) You must not issue or permit the use of unsafe hand tools. (2) You must not use wrenches, including adjustable, pipe, end, and socket wrenches when jaws are sprung or worn to the point that slippage occurs. (3) You must not cut nails with an axe. (4) You must keep impact tools, such as drift pins, wedges, and chisels, free of mushroomed heads. (5) You must keep the wooden handles of tools free of splinters or cracks and must be kept tight in the tool.
