6512-00 Home care services/consumer directed employer program Applies to: Persons employed by individuals who are ill, individuals with disabilities, or vulnerable individuals to provide home care services that enable those individuals to remain in their own homes. Household services include, but are not limited to : • Housekeeping; • Meal planning and preparation; • Shopping; • Transportation; and • Delegated tasks of nursing under RCW 18.79.260 (3)(e). Personal care services include, but are not limited to : • Assistance with dressing; • Feeding; and • Personal hygiene to facilitate self-care. Special note : Premiums for the persons who provide home care services are paid by the consumer directed employer.
